When we heard about Who Gives a Crap, a project dedicated to 100% eco friendly toilet paper manufacturing, we were intrigued to say the least. It was not surprising to find that the founder of Melbourne’s first non-profit bar, Simon Griffiths was also behind this inventive idea and in this case, cubicle door. After learning that 2.5 billion people across the world are without toilets and thousands are dying of diarrhoea related illness every day, the team at Who Gives a Crapdecided to take a stand, or in this case, a seat. Simon spent more that 50 hours atop the royal throne in a cold warehouse in a means to raise money to kickstart his idea. With $50,000 and one very empty bladder later, Who Gives a Crap began. And sure enough, this project comes 3-ply!
Ply-1: A toilet paper initiative where 50% of profits support WaterAid to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
Ply-2: 100% of materials are recycled, saving on water, trees and landfill.
Ply-3: The terrific toilet tissue is without dyes, chemicals, perfumes or chlorine, tested on Aussie bums!
